Hilton Head Reef Foundation - Our Mission

The Hilton Head Reef Foundation, a subsidiary of the Hilton Head Island Sportfishing Club is dedicated to the enhancement and protection of marine fisheries that are significant to the recreational and charter fishing communities.  The Foundation is a supporter of cooperative fisheries research by both state and private entities which improves the ability of our fisheries managers and fishermen to effectively and rationally make decisions about the most sustainable use of our marine natural resources.The Foundation also assumes the role as the primary non governmental marine fisheries educational liaison to the public.

The Hilton Head Reef Foundation, a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization, provides financial and accounting support for the CSS Dolphinfish Research Program.  This Foundation, located in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina can receive donations in support of the dolphin study and provide tax deductible documentation.  All donations are deposited in a designated account with The Community Foundation of the Lowcountry.  www.cf-lowcountry.org.  All checks should be made out to and mailed to:
